This section describes how Connectica accesses and handles data obtained from Google APIs, including the Google Ads API, and is intended to satisfy the requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy, the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions, and the Google Ads API Required Minimum Functionality guidelines.

4.1 Scope

When a client engages Connectica to manage or report on Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, or similar Google services, the client grants Connectica authorized access to those accounts. Connectica may use the Google Ads API and related Google APIs to read, analyze, optimize, and report on campaign data belonging to that client.

4.2 Limited Use of Google User Data

Connectica’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data and Google Ads data only to provide and improve the Services the client has engaged us to perform (e.g., campaign management, bid optimization, keyword research, conversion tracking, reporting).
  • We do not sell Google user data or Google Ads data to any third party.
  • We do not use Google user data or Google Ads data for advertising purposes unrelated to the client’s own advertising campaigns.
  • We do not use Google user data to train generalized or third-party AI or machine-learning models.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except (a) as necessary to provide or improve the Services to the client who owns the data, (b) to comply with applicable law, or (c) as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to affected clients.
  • Human access to Google user data is restricted to authorized Connectica personnel who need it to perform the Services, troubleshoot issues, comply with law, or with the client’s explicit consent.

4.3 Storage, Security, and Deletion

Google Ads data and other Google user data we process is stored on secured systems with access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and logging. Clients may request that we disconnect API access, delete stored Google data we hold for them, or revoke authorization at any time by emailing [email protected]. Clients may also revoke our access directly through their Google account security settings.

4.4 Compliance With Google Terms

Our use of the Google Ads API is subject to, and complies with, the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions, and our use of other Google APIs is subject to the applicable Google API terms. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and those Google terms with respect to Google-provided data, those Google terms govern.

  • Advertising platforms, at client direction: when you engage us to run advertising on Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, or similar platforms, we submit campaign assets, audience criteria, and conversion data to those platforms on your behalf.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, safety, or that of our clients or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, with notice to affected parties where required by law.
  • With your consent: in any other case where you direct or consent to the sharing.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our Services, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize the information.
