Introduction

All Sports Kids is a after school care center in Tamarac, Florida, offering after-school programs, summer camps, spring break camps, cheerleading, gymnastics, birthday parties, and more. They serve families across Broward County — Tamarac, Coral Springs, Sunrise, Parkland, and beyond.

Their website had a solid foundation with 61 blog posts and 33 pages, plus strong local brand recognition. But organic search was underperforming — averaging just 11.8 clicks per day, with technical issues diluting their search presence and seasonal content not capturing demand effectively.

Insight

All Sports Kids had a common problem: a website with good content that was sabotaging itself technically. UTM parameters were creating duplicate versions of pages in Google’s index. Registration forms and internal utility pages were being crawled and indexed, wasting crawl budget. Category and author archive pages were competing with the actual content for rankings.

On top of that, some of their best-ranking pages had default WordPress title tags — meaning they were showing up on page 1 of Google but getting zero clicks because the titles weren’t compelling enough for parents to click on.

The opportunity was clear: fix the technical foundation, optimize what was already working, and let the existing content do its job.

What We Did

Technical Cleanup (February 2026): Blocked UTM parameters in robots.txt to eliminate duplicate indexing. Noindexed 11 utility pages and all category/tag/author archives. Cleaned up robots.txt directives.

Title & Meta Optimization: Rewrote the homepage title and meta description. Identified 3 pages that were ranking on page 1 with zero clicks — rewrote their titles and descriptions to speak to what parents actually care about: safety, fun, location, and age ranges.

Content Authority: Optimized the existing flag football blog post, which was already showing signs of topical authority. Ensured seasonal pages (spring break, summer camp, after-school) had proper keyword targeting.
